JF Law (London) Limited is the controller of personal data submitted through this website. We process data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

If you use a contact or claim form we collect the details you provide, which may include name, contact information, claim type, lender details and a description of what happened. Claim and contact forms are emailed to david@jflawlondon.co.uk so the team can respond.

Why we use it

• To respond to enquiries and administer applications (legitimate interests and/or steps prior to a contract).
• To meet legal obligations, including AML, fraud prevention and professional regulation.
• With consent, where you have asked to receive updates.

Sharing

We may share data with professional advisers, insurers, banking counterparties, IT providers and, where required, regulators or law enforcement. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Application and client files are retained in line with SRA and AML requirements.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
